WHATSAPP RELEASE APP FOR WINDOWS AND MAC

As we all know that WhatsApp Messenger is an American proprietary cross-platform instant messaging client for smartphones. It uses the Internet to send text messages, documents, images, video, user location and audio media messages to other users using standard cellular mobile numbers and recently the Facebook-owned company WhatsApp has launched a desktop application for Windows and Mac.

WhatsApp Introduced Desktop Apps For Windows And Mac

The instant messaging application from the tech giant Facebook, WhatsApp has launched a desktop application for Windows and Mac, which will mirror the conversations and messages from a user’s smartphone device. As the WhatsApp claims that WhatsApp desktop client will offer the desktop notifications, better keyboard shortcuts, and much more, as well as WhatsApp, said that the WhatsApp desktop client will be available for the PCs running on Windows 8 and above and for Mac OS 10.9 and above.
As every WhatsApp user knows very well that, at the start of the year, the Facebook-owned company WhatsApp removed its $1/year subscription fee as an attempt to look for new ways to connect with its users. Hence, the Facebook-owned company WhatsApp also promised that it would not show any third-party ads to make up for the revenue shortfall.
As earlier this week, few leaked screenshots indicated that the WhatsApp desktop client will allow users to send messages to friends and share files, all from your desktop. Hence, the company is indeed ramping up its service and introducing tons of new features.
Earlier  saw that WhatsApp dropped its support for BlackBerry OS as well as BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40, and Nokia Symbian S60 along with the Android version 2.1 and 2.2, and Windows Phone 7.1. But, the Facebook-owned company WhatsApp said that “While these mobile devices have been an important part of our story, they don’t offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app’s features in the future”.

As I mentioned earlier that the WhatsApp desktop client is actually no different than the mobile version, hence, the WhatsApp desktop client will make communicating not only with loved ones as well as it will make the communication between friends and business associates much easier, especially when your messages as synced. If you want to download the WhatsApp desktop client then simply visit WhatsApp’s official site.
