The social tech giant Facebook is a corporation and an online social networking service headquartered in Menlo Park, California, in the United States, which recently rolled out the 360-Degree photos for the news feed.

According to the Oculus, it is a virtual reality head-mounted display developed by Oculus VR which was initially proposed in a Kickstarter campaign, during which Oculus VR (at the time an independent company) raised US$2.4 million for the development of the product. The social tech giant Facebook will add 360-degree photos, which will also be known as Facebook 360, to a News Feed near you.

As the new 360-degree photos will function a lot like Facebook’s 360-degree videos. Hence, you’ll be able to click and drag to explore an environment on the desktop or move your smartphone around as if its screen were a viewfinder.

Since September of last year, the 360-degree videos are available on Facebook and now the social tech giant Facebook is making its platform more user-friendly to photos. The social tech giant Facebook also stated that users can shot photos with a smartphone instead of an expensive video gear.
Moreover, users just need an iPhone running iOS 6 or later, an Android running v4.2 or later or one of many 360 photo apps available for download. In fact, many people will have already created this content, which before was tough to view and according to the reports “Facebook wants to urge people to produce as many photos and videos as possible” so, that the social tech giant Facebook could make its own camera.
For example, the tech giant Google built its Photo Sphere system into Android, which allows users to capture full 360 panoramas and then users can watch them on VR headsets like Google’s Cardboard. As we all know that the good 360 videos are quite tough to shoot and usually require a high-end camera. But, now a large division of smartphones can shoot for VR, so, thanks to our new high-tech technology which makes it possible to shoot good 360 videos.
