[Video] HTC 10 with 5.2-inch 2K display launched: Here’s all you need to know

The new HTC 10 will launch today at 5.30 pm IST online. However a leaked video has revealed what the phone looks like.
HTC is gearing up to announce flagship smartphone which is expected to be launched tommorow, however promotional video has surfaced online, which displays that how the device would be like. The video also confirms that this flagship smartphone from HTC will be called as HTC 10. It seems that this time HTC will get rid of prefix “M” which it included with “HTC M9” last year.

HTC 10, the new flagship from the struggling Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, has been launched today. The HTC 10 features a 5.2-inch 2K display and an aluminium uni-body design. The pre-orders for the smartphone open today in the US. As for specs, HTC 10 sports a 5.2-inch 2K display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor. HTC 10 features a 12 megapixel camera with HTC’s Ultrapixel technology, that will ensure high quality photos even when zooming in. HTC 10 runs Android, which appears to be very closer to stock Android in the video. HTC says that there is no duplication of apps. HTC had earlier released a promotional video that it used to highlight the new ’10’ smartphone. The video can be watched here. One day ahead of the launch, a video of the HTC 10 had leaked revealing almost all the details. Interestingly HTC 10 is also rumoured to be the next Nexus smartphone maker. For HTC, which has seen its smartphone market share tank, there’s a lot riding with the new HTC 10 device. There’s no word on the India launch of this device.
