How make make a bootable pendrive to install windows os (using cmd)

Today i am going to show you how to make a bootable usb pendrive to any install any os via pendrive.


CD/DVD drive on one of most damagible part of a pc.what if your drive fail and you are in hurry to install OS.well here is best and easiest way to install windows OS via pendrive.

Things you need before start-

  1. ISO file of OS you want to install
  2. winrar or other iso file reader.(Download)
  3. Pendrive (with at least 4GB space)
  4. Little brain and patience

Step 1:

insert pendrive and open RUN by pressing windows key + R. TYPE CMD and press enter.

STEP 2:

In the next screen you see cmd. type disk part and press enter 

STEP 3:

Type  LIST  DISK    [Press Enter]
It will show all available disk in your system. Disk 0 is usually hard disk of your system. In my case
Disk 1 is Usb pen drive (This can be different in your case so plz make sure )

Step 4:

Type  SELECT  DISK  1  [Press Enter]

Step 5 :

Type  CLEAN  [Press Enter]

Step 6 :

Type  CREATE  PARTITION  PRIMARY   [Press Enter]

Step 7 :

Type  SELECT  PARTITION  1  [Press Enter]


Step 8 :

Type  ACTIVE  [Press Enter]


Step 9 :

Type FORMAT  FS=NTFS QUICK  [Press Enter]
Wait Until 100% complete.


Step 10 :

Type  ASSIGN  [Press Enter]


Step 11 :
Type EXIT.

Step 12:
Right click on the ISO file of OS and click on extract file and in the popup menu select your Pendrive.(Make sure you have installed winrar to extract file).

Step 13:
Select Your pendrive and click ok(here in my case its Removable Disk (G:)

Wait till 100%

All Done !!.Now remove and reInsert pendrive and you will see your pendrive in now a Windows disk.

Format your pendrive to biring it back to normal step after installation.

SO, This is the way to install OS via pendrive. you may glad to hear that you only need to create partiton in pendrive once.now you can simply extract or paste windows file directly.
